Challenge
Every year our clients get a clogged system from snow and ice. The water kept returning into the sump pit, and the sump pump was recycling the water without the ability to get rid of it. The overwhelmed sump pump Became unable to handle the volume of water and burnt out -causing their basement to flood.
Solution
To prevent that, IceGuard is designed with perforations to keep the water flowing out of the basement, even if the end of the pipe is clogged, thus preventing basement flooding.
