Floor insulation

Floor insulation - Image 1

After CleanSpace is installed in your home, there is no need for fiber glass insulation. This is because once the moisture barrier is there, and all the vents and other air leaks are sealed up you really don’t need to keep that old moldy insulation. Your home’s energy efficiency has already been drastically improved, but if you wish to take another step a radiant barrier can be installed on the crawlspace walls, or those walls can be insulated with foam.

SilverGlo paneling has tiny graphite particles that reflect heat and lower the material’s conductivity for superior R value per inch. In addition to resisting heat conduction, SilverGlo boasts a radiant barrier, which reflects heat back into your crawlspace for more energy savings.

The Crawlspace floor can also be insulated with TerraBlock. TerraBlock is a ¾ inch thick flexible foam insulation with a vapor barrier on both sides. It adds R value, puncture resistance, and dreamy padding for your knees. TerraBlock is for those who want to save the most on their energy costs.
